“Calmed down with adhesive tape,” passenger wanted to open plane door in mid-flight
On November 20, an American Airlines flight from Milwaukee to Dallas was disrupted by a passenger who wanted to “get off the plane”.
According to CNN, relayed by BFMTV, the man in question suddenly presented himself to an air steward, claiming that he needed to “get off the plane now”. Although the crew explained to him that it was impossible to get "off the plane", the passenger reportedly showed signs of aggression, to the point where other passengers intervened to calm him down.
A stewardess, who was protecting the door of the aircraft, was physically assaulted, sustaining injuries to her wrist and neck.
Once calmed down, the individual was immobilized by passengers with adhesive tape. Authorities at Dallas airport took over.
