Extreme phenomenon to hit Earth with 'powerful explosions'
This Wednesday, a “ring of fire” was observed by part of the world. This phenomenon appears when the moon passes in front of the sun without completely covering it. Result? A ring of light forms, hence the expression “ring of fire”.
The phenomenon in question will lead to another phenomenon this weekend, with a major impact on our daily lives. Indeed, it's a new “solar flare” that should hit the Earth at the end of the week. In May, the same phenomenon already took place and incredible northern lights were observed in the sky.
This weekend, an “extreme geomagnetic storm” will impact our lives. The phenomenon that occurs “after the sunspot AR3842, a dark region with rapid growth of powerful magnetic fields along the surface of the sun, produced the second strongest flare in the last five years, according to (the media) LAD Bible,” indicates Sudinfo.
NASA also specifies that solar flares are “powerful explosions of radiation”, without consequences for humans since the radiation can't penetrate the Earth’s atmosphere. Classified in category X, among the most powerful, the expected storm risks affecting our communication devices (radios and satellites), GPS signals and electrical networks.
