An ultra-powerful rejuvenating ingredient

Firmer, plumper, denser skin…, that’s all that this molecule promises, which is relatively little used and unknown in the beauty world, although it's an active ingredient that may well become the star of your skincare routine!

While hyaluronic acid (HA) is known and recognized as the most sought-after anti-dehydration ingredient in the cosmetic world, we hear less and less about this molecule… yet it's 4 times more hydrating: polyglutamic acid or PGA. This humectant ingredient, extracted from nattô, a Japanese specialty made from fermented soybeans, is used to combat skin dehydration and therefore delay the appearance of wrinkles.

As an ultra-powerful active ingredient, polyglutamic acid creates an invisible film on the skin, capable of trapping and retaining moisture in cells. We now know that it can retain up to 5,000 times its weight in water, compared to 1,000 for HA. Because it's composed of molecules larger than hyaluronic acid, PGA can form this film on the skin and therefore prevent moisture loss.

In short, polyglutamic acid, thanks to its deeply moisturizing action, helps correct the signs of aging, fill in wrinkles and delay the loss of skin elasticity (more strongly than hyaluronic acid and collagen). The complexion is more radiant and the skin on the face is plumper.
