The sinister pact between Putin and North Korea

South Korean Defence Minister Shin Won-sik has said in an interview that North Korea has shipped containers containing more than five million artillery shells to Russia.

In an interview published Wednesday by Japanese daily Yomiuri, Shin said Seoul has known since 15 July that North Korea has shipped 11,000 containers to Russian ports since August last year with the capacity to load about 5.2 million 152-millimetre artillery shells. Moscow is believed to have sent these to the front lines in Ukraine.

"In addition to the artillery, we believe North Korea has transferred several dozen short-range ballistic missiles. We believe North Korea will receive support in the form of oil, food and military technology in exchange for these war supplies," Shin said in the interview.
