Scattered Russians bomb own village
An explosion took place last weekend in the Russian city of Belgorod, on the border with Ukraine.
On Saturday, May 4, a Russian military plane initially targeted the city of Kharkiv (which has been attacked several times in Ukraine), but missed its target and dropped a bomb on its own territory, on the city of Belgorod to be exact. "The Russian plane bomb reportedly injured several people and damaged vehicles and some 30 houses," reports La Libre.
Belgian daily newspaper HLN, whose report was picked up by La Libre, quoted British military intelligence as saying that such incidents are not limited to Russia. "These examples show that Russia is still unable to successfully deploy its munitions against predetermined targets. Such mistakes have devastating and deadly consequences for the Russian people."
