He said it, he repeated it, and he continues to shout it. Putin wants to conquer Ukraine, according to him, it's a matter of survival for Russia.

For Europe's top diplomat, Josep Borrell, "the success of the Russian Federation depends on its ability to attract the greatest possible number of people to the battlefield. And if we don't change course quickly, if we don't mobilize all our capacities, this will allow Putin to win the war in Ukraine".

Alexander Musienko, head of the Ukrainian military legal research center, believes that "the projects that Russia has, absolutely didn't succeeded. They should have captured all of Ukraine a long time ago, but they simply can't. And they will constantly need reinforcements, they will bring more and more forces, but will not be able to achieve their goals."

Musienko's argument continues:

"They have problems with personnel, there are problems with staffing units, there are problems and gaps in staffing, while on paper everything is fine, but in reality, de facto, these forces do not exist."
