Moscow is bombing and looting its own cities in Russia
According to the Washington Post, relying on internal Ukrainian intelligence documents, Russia has accidentally dropped unguided bombs on its own territory.
The independent Russian medium Astra estimates that Russia has inadvertently dropped more than 100 bombs on its own territory and in occupied territories in eastern Ukraine over the past four months, this at a time when the use of slide bombs has increased sharply.
Military expert Ruslan Leviev said that although the guidance systems of slide bombs have low reliability, "only a fraction of these bombs fail, which does not affect the practical effectiveness of this weapon, as cynical as that may sound."
These bombs have "a very high destructive power," said Dmytro Lykhovii, spokesman for the Ukrainian army in eastern Ukraine. They "demolish everything, destroy houses and foundations that can be used for defensive reinforcements."
