Kremlin agents arrested for attempting to stage a rebellion in the army
The Security Service of Ukraine has arrested a group of Moscow agents in several regions of Ukraine. They were attempting to create an insurrectionary movement.
Law enforcement agencies have neutralized the subversive activities of the pro-Kremlin organization Ukrainian Workers' Front. According to the investigation, the perpetrators, under the guise of spreading neo-Communist ideas, were inciting Ukrainians to rise up against the government and lay down their arms to the Russians.
The suspects called on men of conscription age to evade mobilization and urged serving servicemen to disobey their commanders' orders and desert their units. They also encouraged defenders to form soldiers' committees to collectively refuse to take part in combat operations.
All the detainees are locals aged between 20 and 32, some of whom are students, while others are employees or unemployed.
During the searches, authorities discovered large quantities of Russian propaganda material, computers and cell phones containing evidence of criminal activities.
