It's clear, Putin doesn't want to end the war
While Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky declared on Tuesday that he wanted to submit a peace plan to American leaders, Russia dismissed his ceasefire proposal.
Zelensky wants to present this “victory plan” to Joe Biden as well as to the two candidates running for American presidency, Kamala Harris and Donald Trump. By doing so, the Ukrainian president hopes that the United States will give him their support and join his project aimed at “forcing Russia to end the war”. In the meantime, he promises to maintain and continue his “special military operation”, reports Midi Libre.
And the Ukrainian president added, in reaction to the Kremlin’s previous announcements on the continuation of the conflict: “there can be no compromise with (Vladimir) Putin, any dialogue is meaningless today, because he does not want to find a diplomatic solution to this war.”
