Scientists claim something mysterious and invisible is hiding at the centre of the galaxy
Scientists have suggested the presence of something mysterious and invisible at the center of our galaxy.
Last year, researchers argued that the strange behavior of Mars could be explained by dark matter. More recently, they proposed that a second Big Bang might have occurred, giving rise to dark matter.
According to a December 2024 study, astrophysicists developed a model to explore their theory and found that "fuzzy" dark matter quickly accumulates at the galaxy's core.
The research, published on arXiv, indicates that this matter then mixes with gas, forming what they call a “fermion-boson star"—a structure unlike any star currently known.
