Man boiled alive and dissolved in acid on visit to Yellowstone
A young man of 23 visited the famous Yellowstone National Park in the United States with his sister in 2016. The duo ignored prohibition signs and hiked through trespassing areas to go swimming.
While the girl took another video of her brother looking for the ideal spot to enter the water, he suddenly slipped at the Norris Geyser Basin and fell into the scorching water. Immediately, his body was boiled alive before the acidic water caused it to dissolve, leaving only his shoes and wallet intact.
After the accident, the sister quickly ran to a nearby museum to get help, but by the time she returned with some park rangers, it was already too late. They could see parts of the young man's head, torso and hands floating in the hot spring, which had reportedly reached 100 degrees Celsius.
Due to stormy weather, the young man's body could not be searched for until the following day. Rescue workers found only his shoes and wallet. His entire body reportedly dissolved overnight.
