The pensioner that “pimped” vulnerable heroin addicts will escape jail

A Northern Ireland pensioner, Kenneth Harvey (73), was sentenced to 18 months prison for six counts of human trafficking and three counts of paying for sexual services. He pled guilty on all counts.

Between March 2015 and March 2021, he repeatedly offered two heroin addicts for prostitution in Belfast. At times, the pair were so stoned they could barely hold their heads up. He drove them to their appointments and pocketed part of the proceeds.

Although he was sentenced to 18 months in prison, he will soon walk free as he has served that amount of time in remand already.
