"Trump tells 162 lies an hour"
According to U.S. public radio station NPR, the Republican candidate constantly spreads fake news. On Thursday, Aug. 8, during a conference lasting just one hour, he allegedly proclaimed as many as 162 "lies, distortions or exaggerations." That's remarkable for someone who himself constantly accuses everything and everyone of 'fake news'.
Donald Trump gave this famous press conference from his residence in Mar-a-Lago, Florida. Journalists spent two days checking all the information reported by the former White House occupant. Their goal? To make voters aware of what Trump is actually proclaiming by focusing on the pure facts, the truth.
Two lies a minute
One of Trump's biggest lies: "the number of people who have tried to immigrate illegally in the past three years." The former leader of the free world claimed "that there are 20 million while customs has registered 7 million," reports NPR radio, relayed by RTL. Trump added that "millions of them are from prison or asylum," but experts are adamant that this is not true. Biden's stolen presidency, the Republicans allegedly leading in the polls.... However, the latest polls show the (slight) advantage going to Kamala Harris. The list of lies and misinformation from Donald Trump goes on and on.
