Man arrested after death threats to Trump and Vance
The failed assassination attempt on Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump has not yet been fully digested, and another suspect plotting an attack has already been arrested.
In Florida, police officers detained a man who had made online threats. The man, whose identity is unknown to the press for now, wrote on social media that he would assassinate Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump and his running mate J.D. Vance.
Thanks to tips from local residents and online followers of the man, police were notified. Officers discovered several threats to Trump and Vance on his Facebook account. Threats had also been made to their family members. The man was taken into custody and the investigation is ongoing.
