Justice has ruled: Trump accused of conspiracy
Republican presidential candidate, Donald Trump, has endured another legal setback after being prosecuted in the Capitol assault case.
Jack Smith is maintaining the four charges against Mr. Trump, including conspiracy to obstruct an official proceeding, but has reduced some allegations relating to his plans to subvert the election.
As the most important election in the United States approaches, Donald Trump's problems continue to mount.
Trump responded on his own platform:
"The special counsel in charge of the investigation, the 'deranged' Jack Smith, brought this ridiculous charge against me in an attempt to resurrect a dead witch hunt in Washington DC, in an act of desperation and to save face."
The Republican presidential candidate facing four criminal charges is doing everything he can to go to trial as late as possible, and in any case after the November 5 election.
