"I think Kim Jong-un misses me"
Presidential candidate Donald Trump gave his first speech since the assassination attempt he survived. And the Republican, of course, talked at length about that incident. But the former president did not fail to also highlight his impact on major global conflicts.
We listened to the Republican presidential candidate's combative words and list the most striking quotes for you.
"I'm going to bring stability to the world," Trump claimed. "I was the only president who didn't bring new wars." Under President Trump, Russia "took nothing," and IS was defeated. He says it's good to get along with people with nuclear weapons like Kim Jong-un. "He would like to see me back. I think he misses me."
"Our successors got a world at peace and turned it into a planet at war." That started with the withdrawal from Afghanistan, Trump said. "I wasn't there because of a ridiculous election."
'Golden times are coming'
He complains that the press would write very differently if there were nuclear submarines in Cuba while he was president. Trump also promises to return hostages from Israel.
"Our victory in November will end years of war and chaos. I can stop wars with a phone call." Trump promises to build an Iron Dome made in America. The country will even find a cure for cancer and Alzheimer's and other diseases. "We need a leader who will get that done. We will not have men playing in women's sports. That will stop immediately. And we will fix our cities," which are now teeming with crime, according to Trump."America is facing a new golden age like never before."
