Young man disappeared with last note on peak in Yellowstone

There has been no trace of 22-year-old Austin for nearly a month. This active young man disappeared in the famous Yellowstone National Park. The parents have now shared a remarkable letter with the world.

It involves a short text Austin left on paper when he reached the summit of Eagle Peak in Wyoming. The note is a handwritten page from his journal that he left on the peak. He made it clear how tough the climb had been.

“I can't feel my fingers anymore and my glasses are so dampened from the relentless mountain weather,” King wrote. “I really can't believe I am here, it has taken me so much effort. I have endured rain, sleet, hail and the most wind I have ever felt.”

Because of the fierce fog, he couldn't even see the mountain peak he was on properly, he further wrote, though he didn't let that get to his heart. “I am 22 years old and I am going to remember this day for the rest of my life. Life is beautiful, go out and live,” he concluded the letter.

And this was the last heard from the American twenty-something for now. He did not return home and was no longer spotted in Yellowstone National Park. A search for him continues, but it still yielded no results. Father King organized a fundraiser to pay for the ongoing search for his son.
