Crazy images are reaching us from North Carolina (USA). A group of youngsters pulled bear cubs out of a tree in the wild to take photos with them for social media.

When the mama bear was momentarily not around, the teens saw their chance to capture the bear cubs to score selfies. Wildlife groups reacted with shock at this stupid action.

Fortunately, the group of youths were able to mete out on the spot.

Biologist Ashley Hobbs, of the North Carolina Wildlife Commission, reacts to the images in dismay: "We confronted the group at the scene about their actions and let them know how irresponsible and potentially deadly it can be to separate the cubs from their mother." Police announced that they are investigating the matter.
