Water bomb and sea snow explode in Europe's skies
Those who thought they would enjoy a real summer in Croatia, right at the end of the high season, for a slightly lower price will probably be disappointed. After three months of absolute heat, Cyclone Boris is causing disastrous weather conditions.
Boris brings with it a unique phenomenon: for example, there was "sea snow" in the Croatian coastal village of Novigrad. Violent waves first covered many streets with a thick layer of foam, then violent gusts of wind blew the foam up before it came back down, swirling like snowflakes. Hence the name: sea snow!
Preparations are also underway in Croatia for the passage of Cyclone Boris.
