When it comes to barbecuing, the wine should be... rosé!
Marie-Christine Osselin is Wine Quality Manager at Champagne house Moët & Chandon. She spoke with authority when The Huffington Post asked her what wine to serve at a barbecue.
According to Osselin, rosé wine has more in common with red than white wine. "Like red wine, rosé goes perfectly with fish, meat, risotto or a fruit salad," she notes. "Rosé has the structure and body that perfectly complement the flavors of the meat." For those who are really daring, she has another tip: "Pair rosé with burgers, lobster, tacos or even spicier cuisine, such as Thai or Indian dishes."
