'Beezin'. Have you heard of it? This is a new trend that is going viral on TikTok.
Beezin involves people applying a layer of Burt’s Bees lip balm to their eyelids. They reportedly do this to get a drunken feeling or simulate the feeling of being high on drugs. However, experts stress that this isn't possible.
“The peppermint oil does cause a tingling sensation, but that sensation is not comparable to the chemical reaction produced by drugs or alcohol,” says Dr. Olivia J. Killeen, an ophthalmologist. The lip balm on your eyes can also cause irritation and infections.
