Will US embassy in Kiev be bombed today?
The U.S. Embassy in Ukraine is calling on Americans to prepare for a major airstrike on Kiev. The U.S. Embassy itself is also temporarily closing its doors as detailed information points toward a major airstrike on Kiev on Wednesday, Nov. 20.
The embassy is closed “to be on the safe side” and embassy staff have been instructed to find a safe place. “The US Embassy in Kiev has received detailed information about a possible significant airstrike on Nov. 20,” a message from the embassy reads.
“The U.S. Embassy advises U.S. citizens to prepare to take immediate cover if the air alert sounds,” the warning reads. Residents of the Ukrainian capital should see where they can take shelter, follow local media and follow the instructions of Ukrainian authorities “if an emergency situation arises.”
It appears that the U.S. Embassy has become a specific target of the Kremlin after giving the green light to Ukraine to use U.S. long-range missiles for targets on Russian territory.
