Trump risks getting embroiled in new conflict

During a press conference last Thursday, Donald Trump felt exhilarated while all the spotlights were on him. It must be said that his rival, Kamala Harris, had been attracting too much attention for far too long for his liking.

He speaks loudly, gesticulates and digresses, as usual. He attacks the Democratic candidate by telling the story of a helicopter flight alongside her ex-boyfriend, former San Francisco mayor Willie Brown... A flight that almost cost him his life due to a landing emergency and during which this 'famous ex' made terrible revelations to him about Kamala Harris.

The problem is that this story never existed. In fact, it seems that the former White House tenant confused Willie Brown with Jerry Brown, the former governor of California with whom he actually took a helicopter ride in 2018 to go to the city of Paradise. “The flight was lively but the landing was safe,” Jerry Brown told the Washington Post, specifying that Kamala Harris was never part of the discussion.

For his part, the former mayor of San Francisco describes this anecdote as absurd, ensuring that he never shared a flight in a helicopter with Trump. Recently, Willie Brown turned to the press, accompanied by his lawyer, to warn the former American president. If he continues to tell this story, Brown will not hesitate to file a defamation suit. "I don't need an apology. I just want him not to use my name," he clarified.

Trump, however, maintains his version, in turn threatening to file a complaint. He guarantees to have proof of the flight and emergency landing. When we know that he is capable of telling 162 lies per hour... A new legal conflict in sight?
