Russian soldiers annoyed by North Koreans: “They're crazy...”
Cohabitation is difficult on the front line. Putin's armed forces avoid all contact with them, considering them “cruel and devoid of humanity.”
Testimonies from Russian prisoners speak of many problems with North Koreans on the front line.
During one of the last night of offensives, they reported that they launched drones without notifying their superiors, that they fired without knowing whether, when they saw a drone, it was their own or a Ukrainian's, that they “trained separately and obeyed no one. The Koreans are in front and we're behind them”, said a captured Russian soldier.
As for living conditions in the trenches and on the front lines, the Russians said they “eat twice as much as we do, they eat eggs, chocolate and drink coffee”, while describing them as “cruel and devoid of humanity” in many of their actions.
The Russian army avoids interacting with North Koreans because of language barriers. “They have a commander who speaks a few words of Russian, but I've never seen him,” recounted one Russian prisoner.
