‘In 15 minutes we can make Poland disappear from the face of the earth’
Russian propagandists threaten on television channel Russia 1 to completely destroy Poland and its people. They are convinced that no one will risk the security of France, Britain and the United States for Poland.
This is the kind of chilling and frightening talk you can see and hear daily on Russia 1: ‘Let's take the example of Poland, which is the closest to us and the most realistic candidate to become a small uncontrolled theatre of nuclear war.’
‘Are there 20 major cities there? That's unlikely, even if you calculate to allocate two missiles to each city, there are only 30/40. What are 30 missiles, that's it. What are 30 missiles, it's just one salvo from one division of the Iskander missile system?’
‘16 launchers, two in each missile, if they are nuclear, 32 missiles, 10/15 minutes and Poland and the Poles as a people disappear from the face of the earth along with their language.’
‘Therefore, I once again call on the countries of Europe to think seriously about what they are doing. I am absolutely convinced that an attack on Poland or the Baltic States will not provoke any reaction from the United States. Nobody is going to risk the security of France or Britain, let alone that of the United States.’
