"US must become crypto capital of the planet"
Donald Trump promises that the United States will become the crypto capital of the world. The Republican presidential candidate said this last weekend during a conference in Nashville. His statement certainly did not fall on deaf ears as the price of bitcoin immediately skyrocketed.
Trump wants to make the US a "bitcoin superpower" if he becomes president again. He therefore called on Americans to embrace crypto and bitcoin technology or else China and other countries will take it and become dominant. "I want us to start mining and making crypto in America," Trump said.
