Shocking claims made during UFO hearing in Congress

A former Defense Department official has claimed that the United States has conducted programs aimed at retrieving UFOs to study and understand extraterrestrial technology.

On Wednesday, a congressional hearing was held as part of an investigation into UFOs, with several people testifying under oath that the government had established UFO research programs. However, the lack of evidence weakens these testimonies.

In a Pentagon statement, a spokesperson said that the department "has not found any verifiable evidence that any UAP observation represented extraterrestrial activity nor has the department discovered any verifiable information to substantiate claims that any programs regarding the possession or reverse-engineering of extraterrestrial materials have existed in the past or exist currently."

Last year, whistleblower David Grusch spoke in a UFO hearing, claiming that the Pentagon was secretly working on a program to recover UFOs.

Wednesday’s hearing was marked by statements from Luis Elizondo, a former Defense Department official, who asserted in his memoirs that the United States possesses "advanced technologies manufactured abroad by non-human intelligences."

Luis Elizondo also claimed that some employees have been injured by UFOs and have received compensation from the government.
