Mysterious disappearance of tourist (65) on Greek tourist island
What happened to 65-year-old Dutch Brigitte on the Greek island of Samos?
Something was last heard from the Amsterdam woman on Thursday around 10:30 in the morning. After all, that was when she was in telephone contact with a friend. She had informed her that she was going for a walk near the Tunnel of Eupalinos, a landmark of Greek antiquity. Brigitte was on vacation in Greece with a close friend.
The hike the Dutch tourist had planned Thursday was supposed to start and end in the town of Pythagorion, where she was staying in a hotel. But since then she disappeared without a trace. A search operation was launched.
Brigitte is 65 years old, has dark blond curly hair and is 1 meter 64 tall. She was wearing blue clothing on the day of disappearance. Her phone has since been found, but every trace of the woman is still missing.
