Flight hit by turbulence on way to Singapore: one dead
A plane en route from London to Singapore experienced severe turbulence on Monday. One person died, several passengers were injured.
About 30 people were also injured on a flight bound for Singapore from London. The Boeing 777 had to be diverted to Bangkok, in Thailand.
A total of 211 passengers and 18 crew members were on board. Singapore Airlines already expressed its condolences to the family of the deceased passenger.
