Additional opponent at the Olympics: heat!
According to the French meteorological service, the next few days will be particularly hot around Paris.
In the south of France, temperatures have been rising above 40 degrees Celsius since last weekend. In many French departments people are advised to drink enough and avoid going outside during the hottest hours of the day.
In Paris, too, the temperature is heading towards 35 degrees in the coming days, which is not good news for all outdoor Olympians.
