Visit to Biden and Harris, closed door at Trump's?
According to Politico, there is very little chance that Ukrainian President Volodimir Zelenski will be allowed to have coffee with Donald Trump during his visit to the United States. Indeed, an aide to the Republican presidential candidate and former president confirmed to that news site that no meeting has yet been scheduled and is unlikely to take place.
The Ukrainian president will, however, meet US President Joe Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris during his visit to Washington.
But a meeting with Trump, whose campaign is openly supported by Moscow, thus appears to be out of the question after all. The Kremlin has been caught numerous times the past years in trying to influence the American elections in favor of Donald Trump.
