Trump responds: “We'll blow up your cities”
The American intelligence services informed Donald Trump on Tuesday about death threats made against him from Iran.
The Republican presidential candidate was briefed by the Office of the Director of National Intelligence on "real and specific threats from Iran to kill him in order to destabilize the US and create chaos," Trump team spokesman Steven Cheung said.
Trump has meanwhile also responded to the threats from Iran. “If I were the president, I would say to Iran, 'If you do anything that harms this person, we will blow up your biggest cities and the country itself.' Then there would be no more threats,” he said during a campaign speech in the state of North Carolina. “But right now we don't have that leadership, or the people needed, the leaders needed,” he continued.
