Putin gifts Kim Jong-Un several animals: find out which ones
Russia has pledged to donate eagles, pythons, parrots and fruit bats to Pyongyang's zoo.
With this generous 'animal donation', Putin wants to strengthen ties with North Korean leader Kim Jong-un.
This concerns more than 40 animals that will soon move from Russia to North Korea. The donation comes in the context of the rapidly growing military and political cooperation between the two countries. The donation of the animals is therefore seen worldwide as a diplomatic gesture.
