“Bullets are flying around and the situation will only get worse”
This is what Donald Trump wrote on his Truth Social media network, follwing the second assassination attempt against him.
The Republican candidate's remarks are reported by American TV channel. According to Trump, the man accused of having wanted to open fire on him "believed the rhetoric of [Joe] Biden and [Kamala] Harris and acted accordingly". He continues: "their rhetoric is causing me to be shot at, when I'm the one who is going to save the country and they are the ones who are destroying it, from the inside and the outside".
On his Truth Social media network, Donald Trump attacks his political rival and denounces the "false statements made by comrade Kamala Harris during the rigged and highly partisan ABC debate".
For his part, the Minister of Justice, Merrick Garland, assures that he's doing everything possible to carry out his investigation.
