What animal does Robbie Williams portray in his biopic?
In Better Man, a musical biopic directed by Michael Gracey, Robbie Williams is embodied by a digital monkey.
In the film, the British pop icon exposes the consequences of premature fame and his complex relationship with his father.
But of course, the surprise is the monkey. At no point does Robbie Williams appear in the film. The former Take That singer speaks, sings and dances through the appearance of this monkey.
The biopic follows the rise of British singer-songwriter Robbie Williams. After becoming a star with his boy band in the 1990s, he gradually plunged into artificial paradise before returning to solo success in 1997 with “Angels”.
