“Hanouna? He’s burned out, nobody wants him”: a renewed war

On July 24, Arcom (Audiovisual and Digital Communication Regulatory Authority) made a radical decision: C8, the channel that hosts the show Touche pas à mon poste, will disappear from the small screen in February next year.

The French host, Cyril Hanouna, will therefore find himself deprived of airtime. A sanction that seems to make quite a few people happy.

In an interview with TV Mag, Thierry Ardisson, Hanouna's great enemy, didn't hide his joy. "I'm delighted that C8 is stopping," he declared. According to him, Arcom will allow Vincent Bolloré to save money. "He has still lost 368 million euros since the creation of C8! And the channel loses 45 million euros per year!"

And he continued: "I'm delighted that C8 is stopping because giving Hanouna a two-hour political show a day is like the Khmer Rouge who, when they arrived in Cambodia, handed out machine guns to 12-year-old kids. It's the same for Hanouna. He has no political culture. He repeats what his puppeteer, Bolloré, asks him to say. He shamelessly propagandises for the National Rally. He is radicalized. Thanks Arcom!"

The former presenter, who has been at war with Hanouna for years, sincerely hopes that he won't find another job. "No one will hire him, he's burned out. […] I think, bro, that you will have to settle for Europe 1!" he concluded.
