Speculation surrounding Tesla's Model Q gains momentum
Speculation about Tesla’s Model Q, rumored to be a smaller and more affordable vehicle, has intensified as Elon Musk may soon give the green light for its production.
While the American company announced the Cybercab and Robovan last October, Tesla, led by the world’s richest man, has not mentioned the Model Q, leading some to question whether the project had been shelved.
According to Chinese media, the Model Q was a topic of discussion during an investor meeting with Deutsche Bank and Tesla’s Head of Investor Relations. The base price is expected to be under 30,000 dollars.
Rumors suggest the vehicle will offer two battery options, either 53kWh or 75kWh, with a maximum range of 480 kilometers (approximately 300 miles).
The Model Q is expected to debut in the first half of 2025.
