The Smart #5 is a 100% electric SUV. The result of a Sino-German collaboration, it benefits from cutting-edge architecture. Its 800 V platform and 100 kWh battery should ensure an official range of over 600km (740km according to the lax Chinese CLTC cycle) and very fast recharges (15 minutes to go from 10% to 80%). A trunk at the front, a 72-liter "frunk", allows you to store cables. However, the power of this 4.70m car is not yet known. The Smart #5 has no shortage of screens: a 25.6-inch augmented reality head-up display, a 10.3-inch Ultra HD color LCD instrument cluster, and two 13-inch 2.5K AMOLED screens. Enough to make Imax jealous. The fluidity of the whole thing is ensured by an AMD V2000 chip with high computing power. Among the little things it will have to manage, there is the generative AI voice assistant to control many functions by voice.

Ambiance on board

The SUV can also turn into a nightclub. It offers 256 colors for ambient lighting. The sound system with a peak power of 2000 W was entrusted to Sennheiser. It balances the sound on 20 speakers and a portable speaker. As a bonus, there is one that synchronizes its light with the rhythm of the music. "Come on, everyone raise your hands!
