Fire on Ryanair plane: 184 passengers evacuated via emergency slide
It was for sure a bit of a scare for the passengers aboard the Ryanair flight from Brindisi, Italy, to Turin. After all, the plane caught fire on the runway in Brindisi.
One of the plane's engines caught fire while taxiing around 8:35 a.m. on Thursday. Immediately the emergency procedure was initiated. The fire department was quickly on the scene and was able to evacuate the passengers from the aircraft. All 184 passengers and crew members were able to be safely evacuated. No one was injured.
