DS No 8: Swan song or real departure?

DS is playing big with the No. 8. This new prestigious model is a luxury electric SUV-Coupé. It should restore the image of the high-end French brand Stellantis.

In mid-2025, the DS No. 8 will be free to circulate outside of motor shows. A real work of art, this car should put the brand back in the premium automobile game. This 4.82 m vehicle, with sharp aerodynamics, embodies French luxury with, for example, neck heating in the seats. The materials are prestigious, like the Nappa leather and brushed aluminum. Infotainment is entrusted to DS Iris System 2.0 technology with a 16-inch touchscreen and voice recognition supported by ChatGPT AI.

Long Range

An electric vehicle, the No. 8 will be offered, at its commercial launch, with three engines. In traction, the 260hp and 345Nm engine is powered by a 74kWh battery providing a WLTP range of 572km. By opting for the "Long Range" solution, the engine increases to 280hp and the battery has a capacity of 97.2kWh for a range of 750km in WLTP. The AWD Long Range 4-wheel drive solution develops 375hp and 51 Nm with a WLTP range of 686km with its 97.2 kWh battery. All these models have a maximum speed of 190km/h. Fast charging can reach a power of 200kW.
