How to make that delicious pumpkin toast
Pumpkin season is around the corner. You've probably made soup, marmalade, mash, pumpkin fries, etc. But have you ever made pumpkin toast? It's best to use a butternut for to try this out.
How to make it
Peel the butternut and cut into slices of about 5mm. Then roast them on the highest setting in your toaster. It's best to do this twice. You can also use a grill pan to do this.
You can then spread or top them with whatever you like: cheese, avocado, jam, yoghurt, egg, peanut butter, etc. and enjoy! You can store the butternut slices in the fridge for up to 3 to 5 days, or in the freezer for up to 3 months.
