How to look good in winter without UV or self-tanners

Gone are the zebra-like effects of badly-measured self-tanners and the extreme harmfulness of UV rays in tanning salons. Today, it's easy to achieve a radiant complexion in just a few seconds, without having to waste energy, money or your health.

We're all too familiar with the heady smell of self-tanners, applied in thick layers to both the body and face, on the morning of a big night out or in the evening at bedtime (leaving little chance of the sheets coming out unscathed). And that's without mentioning UV cabins, which are extremely harmful, not only for the skin but also for the eyes, that are expensive if you use them regularly and, let's face it, consume a lot of energy.

In order to take no risks and enjoy a tanned complexion in all circumstances, winter and summer alike, adopt this little miracle product:

Carrot oil! It's an excellent alternative to all self-tanners on the market. Rich in provitamin A, the source of the healthy-glow effect, it has incredible skin-repair benefits AND protective properties. It also beautifies, protects and intensely nourishes hair, giving it a unique shine. And for a little extra? Its antioxidant benefits that are ideal for combating free radicals (dust, pollution, sunlight...) and thus slowing down skin ageing.

Application advice: Carrot oil can be applied to a clean face, after a serum, as a day cream or foundation. For a natural, glowy effect, it can also be mixed with your foundation or tinted moisturizer. A nice nod to the “no-makeup makeup” trend that's flooding social media networks at the moment.

In order to preserve your tan, you can also “eat” vitamin. Present in large quantities in mango, apricot, carrot and melon, vitamin A thought to encourage the production of melanin, the pigment responsible for skin color.
