Zelenskyy’s appalling assessment about Putin
Volodymyr Zelenskyy accused Vladimir Putin of showing contempt for "human life" following a missile strike that devastated a Ukrainian military site in the city of Dnipro.
The Russian president revealed during a national television appearance that he had ordered the launch of a medium-range intercontinental ballistic missile at Ukraine. The Russian leader added that he also had "the right" to use such weapons against Western countries that have authorized Ukraine to deploy their arms on Russian territory.
The Ukrainian president lamented that his antagonistic neighbor was using Ukraine as a "training ground."
"Today, our crazy neighbor has once again shown who he really is and how he despises dignity, freedom, and human life in general," he added in a video posted on Telegram.
Meanwhile, a recent Gallup poll suggests that Ukrainians are increasingly skeptical about the likelihood of their country joining NATO soon, as well as the durability of U.S. military support.
After nearly three years of conflict, Russia is estimated to have lost over 720,000 troops, according to figures from Kyiv. However, these numbers have not been independently verified.
