"We must be ready to strike Russia"
During a speech in Brussels, Rob Bauer, Chairman of the NATO Military Committee, described the Alliance's defense scenarios against a Russian military attack.
Rob Bauer said that "the idea is to respond only if we're attacked. Wait for them to shoot at us to intercept the missiles. But, being even smarter, if Russia attacks us, we should attack the facilities that are in Russia".
"So we need a combination of deep precision strikes with which we could destroy the weapon system that would be used to attack us, and obviously, because we have a defensive line, we will take the first blow, because Russia will start the conflict, not us."
In conclusion Rob Bauer said: "We must be ready to strike Russia, if it attacks us first."
