Return to sender, the Russians have been fooled
Although Kiev deplored the biggest drone attack since the start of the war, the Russians didn't expect the setback...
A total of 188 Shahed drones were launched last Tuesday by the Russian armed forces. These Iranian-designed drones, also manufactured in Russia, can travel 1,000 kilometers. A record-breaking attack, with little effect.
According to Ukrainian sources, reported by Le Monde, 76 drones were shot down by the defense forces using kinetic means, and 95 were hijacked. The Ukrainian army is said to have hacked the drones' control system, enabling them to deviate from their trajectory and miss their target. The result? Either the drone crashes, or is diverted to... Russia! In fact, Kiev is said to have succeeded in returning the drones to their sender, “intentionally sending them back to Russia or even Belarus”.
