Record attack: Russia pulls out all the stops
As time goes by, the conflict between Russia and Ukraine intensifies. On Tuesday, November 26, Kiev announced that the country had been targeted by a record Russian drone attack.
In the midst of the escalation, the Russian armed forces launched 188 combat drones in the direction of Kiev, damaging “essential infrastructure”, residential buildings and causing major power outages across the country.
Ukraine managed to shoot down 76 drones between Monday evening and midday Tuesday, although local air defense systems are struggling to keep up with the relentless pace of Russian attacks. According to the Ukrainian Air Force, the Russians also fired 4 Iskander-M ballistic missiles in the direction of the capital.
Fortunately, there were no casualties.
