Putin is aware Trump will fail
Vladimir Putin knows Donald Trump’s proposed peace deal for Ukraine won’t work and is preparing to kill Volodymyr Zelenskyy.
Professor Anthony Glees suggests that Vladimir Putin is already planning to eliminate Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, knowing that any peace deal proposed by Donald Trump to end the conflict in Ukraine is unlikely to succeed.
Anthony Glees points to Vladimir Putin’s adoption of a new nuclear doctrine ahead of Donald Trump’s anticipated return to the White House in January as evidence that the Russian leader is staying one step ahead.
"He [Putin] knows Trump will make peace on the basis of Putin having what he's already taken, forcing Ukraine to eschew NATO membership for 25 years. Putin knows this deal would not be worth the paper it's written on and after a while will seek to take all of Ukraine and kill Zelenskyy into the bargain," the expert told The Mirror.
Meanwhile, outgoing U.S. President Joe Biden authorized Ukraine on Sunday to use American long-range missiles to strike targets within Russia—but only in the Kursk region, where Russian and Ukrainian forces are currently clashing.
However, it’s likely that Donald Trump will reverse this decision once he assumes office.
During his presidential campaign, the Republican candidate claimed he could end the conflict between the two neighboring nations in just 24 hours.
