Putin crushes Ukraine under a carpet of bombs
In recent weeks, Russia has stepped up its military pressure on Ukraine with intense bombardments.
“Putin wants to escalate the situation now so that President Trump can't end the war,” said Ukrainian President Volodymir Zelenski , who called on his partners to respond forcefully to the Kremlin's ‘blackmail’ by redoubling their support for Ukraine.
“We need a just peace, a peace by force, not this series of catastrophes in which a dictator in Moscow has been imposing his conditions with his missiles on every new leader for 25 years now,” said Zelenski.
The Ukrainian president said Russian President, Vladimir Putin, was seeking to force the US to “accept Russia's conditions”, in response to statements by Kremlin chief, Vladimir Putin, that the Russian military was already working to identify new targets on Ukrainian soil to attack with Oresshnik hypersonic ballistic missiles.
“This escalation on Putin's part is a form of pressure ultimately aimed at forcing the US president to accept Russia's conditions,” the Ukrainian leader asserted.
