‘Putin clearly doesn't want peace’
Russia fired a hypersonic medium-range missile at Ukraine on Thursday. This was reported by Russian President Putin himself in a televised speech. Ukrainian President Zelensky called it a ‘clear and serious escalation’.
In the televised speech, Putin called the firing of the medium-range missile a ‘response to Ukrainian attacks with Western weapons’.
Zelensky responded on X: he called the Russian act a ‘clear and serious escalation in the scale and brutality of this war’ and proof ‘that Russia is not interested in peace’. Zelensky asked the world for a ‘strong reaction’.
