Kim Jong Un’s soldiers are not fighting

North Korean troops deployed alongside the Russian army in the Kursk region are reportedly well-trained but not being used on the front lines, according to a Russian war blogger.

While several Western intelligence agencies have confirmed that North Korean troops have been sent to Russia, Moscow has not officially acknowledged their deployment. However, a war blogger has shed light on what is reportedly happening in the Kursk region.

The Telegram channel Romanov Light revealed that North Korean soldiers are indeed present but are not being used "directly" on the front lines.

According to Kyiv, over 11,000 North Korean soldiers have been deployed in the Kursk region, part of which remains under Ukrainian control following a summer offensive.

Various reports indicate that some North Korean troops have been injured in combat. More recently, the Financial Times reported that a British missile wounded a general sent by Pyongyang.

"All this talk about contact with Koreans by the enemy is nonsense, they are there but they are not taking part in combat," the account added.
